I just finished reading a book entitled, 'SQUIRREL PROOFING your home & garden' by RHONDA MASSINGHAM HART by STOREY BOOKS

SQUIRREL PROOFING your home & garden

A very informative and a delightful read. In paperback this book is one of a few I recently read.

I started out reading this book to learn of the many ways to defend the backyard garden against a small squirrel type of invasion as I want to keep my tomatoes for the dinner table, not for hungry local critters to munch.

The book started off with the many locations in North America where the many different species of squirrel live.

Their personal food preferences, their physical characteristics and their many methods of getting and storing food for themselves in the wild and in your back yard.

It highly recommend this book. If you read it you will see things from the Squirrel's perspective and maybe even change your view towards them as did I. I will give you a link to the website that offers this book so you can read a copy of it yourself if you are interested in learning all about the furry balls of mischief.

That's a beautiful picture. We used to have red squirrels in this part of the world but the bigger grey squirrels drove them out.

Before I read this book I had no idea of ow wide a territory these creatures remain in existence. They are not only living in North America and parts of Canada but they exist all over the planet: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/squirrels-of-the-world-richard-w-thorington/1105340837

Personally, I enjoy squirrels. And I was told something just today that I never knew about them. Check out my article on this that was recalled to me by your article, LADT! I'll write it now.
