Apples to Apples? Good Thing Apples Have Lots of Varieties

The first bite I took out of the “ writing apple ” was at a site that no longer exists called Suite.io ; but my first experience was all I needed to get going. After that, even though not all of my experiences with writing sites have been profitable (money wise), all of the experiences have been productive. To quote Alanis Morissette: “You live, you learn.”

In addition to publishing stand-alone blogs and micro-blogs, I am actively using my writing skills at several social sites that pay: MyLot ; Literacy Base ; Niume ; and ForumCoin . These communities do what sites like Bubblews and Tsu promised to do.

My work plans include finding more lucrative . But for now, these sites are at least providing a small stream.

Glad to be back here at PersonaPaper as well.

That's an attractive glittery image! Yes, many people think writing is easy but like any great skill, it takes practice.

I like that glittery apple. Glad you were able to come by and post.

I get the reference to an apple -- at least I think I do. Many think Eve ate an apple and shared it with Adam. In fact, there is no validity to the claim it was an apple. Nevertheless, I get your point. I bit, too. First for me it was Associated Content, later Yahoo! Then, oh, perhaps 8 other sites. I now write here, at Decoded Science, and most of all - at my own site - QuirkyScience. And, yes, I've learned much as I've traveled the road of writing. Oh, and I made a few bucks to boot, such as at Demand Studios.

I hear a lot of people mention Demand Studios. I might give them a try.

I'm not sure of its current state. I used to write for $25 an article with them. Some would write articles valued higher. But, to be honest, it came to be like you were the site's pencil, rather than an independent author.
