Mindfulness: an eight-week plan for finding peace in a frantic world
I'm reading a Mindfulness book by M. Williams and D Penman and now I will follow a week-by-week summary of their program.
Week One helps you to see the automatic pilot at work and encourages to explore what happens when you "wake up". Central to this week is a Body and Breath meditation that stabilizes the mind and helps you to see what unfolds when you focus your full awareness on just one thing at a time.
My husband and I will be traveling to Europe towards the end of May, but it's difficult to calculate when we will be back home. We are both going for medical reasons, but it all depends on the doctors we will be consulting, as we don't know when their appointments will be. My husband will have another cataract operation done to his second eye, while I will consult a GP to see which doctor I will consult, as I have MS, but also problems with my walking, so it could be my knees or hip. We will see.
