My new website

Remember how I told you about my exciting Forever Living business a while back? Well I am still doing reasonably well with it but the online side of things is a little slow. I always thought my problem was the website I had, it was a company one and I had very little input as to what goes on it or how it works.

Recently the company came out with another site we could set up and I signed up straight away because oh my goodness is it better. I have so much control over it while still having all the necessary company stuff like head office address and disclaimers automatically on there. I chose which products I wanted to display and took the focus off recruitment a little, the old site was very much 'here join my team, oh and there are some products on here somewhere' I really didn't like it. The new site is much more 'here is what our company and products are about aren't they great? Oh if you love them as much as me you can join the company, but only if you want to'

The only thing missing from it is a blog, so I have set up a wordpress blog separately which I just link to the appropriate page on the actual website. Business is going well and its about to get so much better.

Just for your interest, if you want to check out the new site its at actually I would love some feedback on it.

Congratulations for daring to go into this business, as it sounds very interesting and it seems to have a lot of future!

Very good site. I took a look at your site just seconds ago and I was very impressed by it. Great job. But you already knew that, lol

Certainly the site is very easy to navigate, though I cringed at the prices!

It's a growing business for sure and I really enjoy it

Thanks, I cant take much credit for the design though, I just pick which elements I want to use from a selection they give us but I am really happy with it

I think this is where Forever shoots itself in the foot a little - the products last ages so they actually don't work out that expensive, but people don't know that until they have used them for a while so new customers are a little put off by the prices because they don't realise that they will last as long as they do. I often (very naughtily) discount things for people by giving up a bit of my commission on their first order, but I am unable to do that through the website which is a shame really. They would be better making smaller products at lower prices I think

I had a look at your new website and it looks good, but just wished it was not in the UK!

Forever are pretty much worldwide, you should be able to change the country at the top? Actually it should have done it itself but you should still be able to change it manually. What country are you in? I am sure there will be a version for where you are

The products seem very good and I especially love the fact that there is no herbicides or pesticides used. Congratulations on your venture. But I do have a question. Where is the blog? I do not think I saw it at all.

I love that all our products are natural and the fact that we grow our own aloe which means we have total control of the whole process and can control exactly is and isn't used in the growing and production. I especially love that none of our products are tested on animals, given that I have two pet rabbits, I cant bear the thought of cosmetics being tested on them. The site does no allow me to blog which is a shame so I simply set up a wordpress site basically just for the blog, although I don't have much on it yet. Eventually I may move everything over to the wordpress site and upgrade to my own domain but this will do for now.
