Foggy this morning

I woke up to find that it was foggy this morning in Nelson Bay and one could not even see the opposite shore. I don’t know how the ferry could cross to deposit its passengers across the way! What I could see just in front of my flat window was a boat and it had the Swiss flag on it. How did it get to the sea if that country is landlocked, just like its neighbour Austria?

Yes, it might be foggy, but it has been raining a lot, so the garden is all green and our two frangipani trees have got many beautiful red flowers on them! One has to remember that we have friends coming to visit us next week and we will be preparing an apricot cake for afternoon tea.

I do like the fog, for one reason or another. It's something that I like. I do also enjoy a good rainy day from time to time, as well as a thunderstorm.

I like it to be foggy in a detective story set in London. And I like a little light fog in the mountain tops. Once, not far away, I visited a house with this tiny piece of cloud that floated by (not touching the ground, but close to it) a nearby wild rose bush.
