One Lump or 2 ?

Do you want one lump or 2 or do U just want your coffee black?

Well, I want 3 or more cubes or teaspoons of sugar in every cup of hot coffee, but ...

It is impossible to lose weight when I add the sweetness to my Java.

I have gone a few days without sugar. That is excluding the carbs I continue to inhale in the form of biscuits and bread. But I have actually gone a while with no sugar in my coffee, no sugar in my tea.

Why wait until new year's day to resolve not to eat sugar when ...

I can start right now?

The scale does not lie!

When I wake up I go weigh myself before getting dressed. I want to know how much gravity has it's power over me and I guess the planet has held me today at around 212.6 pounds based on the gravity of the planet at exactly so many degrees latitude and so many degrees longitude and an elevation above sea level that is just enough to insure against having to take a boat ride to CVS when the next major Tsunami hits the Gulf coast line.

I am not talking sugar substitutes. I mean Code Black coffee and Earl Grey tea.

I will have to see what the people think when they come over for the holiday dinner and see that I don't seem to mind them having extra slices of sweet pie or cake. It will be my ultimate sugar deprivation challenge ever. I am afraid not eating a thing with sugar may be an impossible goal but then, I am willing to do this, since it has only been 2 days or less since my last sugar rush.

Well, I will have to try harder tomorrow. Because my wife did not know I was trying to get off sugar, my own personal challenge, one day at a time, and she brought me an unexpected cup of hot cocoa. How could I refuse? Maybe I will do better after I finish that cup, I mean, mug.

Sugar is addictive. If you try the low carb lifestyle, your longing for sugar will disappear. I gave up sugar in tea and coffee as a teenager and now I could NOT drink tea or coffee with sugar in. You get used to it.
