Review of Doodly

Just Bought A New Piece Of Software

The latest piece of software people are shouting about, Doodly, is the greatest new toy I have got in a long time. It's a piece of software that helps you make those instant writing videos, you know, the ones where it appears a hand is writing or drawing really fast while you watch. I didn't even read the instructions, it was SSSSOOOOOO easy to work with.

I wasn't Going to Buy

But I saw a review from someone whose opinion I respect, so I went ahead and purchased. I would have liked to add the actual video in here but we can't do that, so will have to let you have a link. Watch my second video here (1 minute) .

Having checked it out, made a couple of videos and uploaded them, I realised that I went about it wrongly the first time. I used 4 scenes. That's not sensible with this type of video because every item is drawn on screen. Better to have one scene and lengthen the time it is shown on screen. You can change the order in which items are shown and the length of time to draw them. It also provides royalty free music and a lot of items you can include. You can add your own new items, as I did, if you want and also create new ones, but I haven't tried that yet.
