It's very sad nobody is writing here.

I like writing and this site provides a very easy template to write in and provide easy links and title pics.

Come join me and make personapaper great again. Or at least take the time to write one article a week. The article you write may actually get shared and read by millions through the links and by the search engines.

Is it just the money?

Is it because you aren't making 50 cents a day?

Since when are all of the other writing sites paying big bucks for writers?

I earn some on other sites but not enough to pay for new batteries for my hoverboard. I get it. People have to earn something. Well, then if that's the case go and earn your 50 cents a day or less and call me when their site fails. So far hundreds of writing sites that pay have failed. The real reason for the failures has always been lack of participation on those sites and too many ads running causing browsers to crash.

Some ads on some sites offend writers so they up and leave.

Some are reeking a meager amount of earnings from Google Ad Words, Google Ad Sense and other ads. The thing is, if you are not a lucky writer for Yahoo! or a lucky writer for the New York Times you probably survive on your blog wondering if, after a few decades it was all worth the effort but meantime those web hosting servers are making money from you. You do pay a monthly fee don't you? I know I do. I have made my web hosting service more money by paying for them to host my blog in the past few decades than all the money I have earned as an online writer. What did that get me? a few thousand views by a random assortment of people. And since I don't update my blog much any more because I am trying to earn enough online as a writer to buy coffee I simply don't understand why I even bother. There has to be an answer. There must be a better way.

Let me know if you have become successful at your blog and why? I have to get a second cup of coffee. Take care. Love and best regards, Anthony Davis.

All work and no pay makes writers run away. I agree with you on a lot of issues you raised in your post but at the same time I have my reservations. Personally , I believe if writing for a site and incurring expenses such as internet, Time and Brain wear and tear for free or without being paid a penny, then it's better to have my own site, pay a yearly hosting fee and write for my self, then share my thoughts with the world. I took the bold step last year and as I write my sight with be a year old. I love the feedback I have gotten from friends and readers all over the world. I have no regrets starting www.busyblinks.com. I made the best choice. Traffic may not be the best but, the decision will pay off soon.

The reason I haven't written much lately is due directly to not having a computer. I had to do some serious work on mine just to be able to get it back up and running. Hope you will just hang in there an keep a positive attitude. Writing here depends largely on the want of doing so by those who have written here since day one or for those who hope for getting some pay for writing posting articles at this site. I for one enjoy writing for nothing but the extra coins do help with coffee expenses. I think that ads will have to be used in some shape or form. It's the way the other sites are doing things so I guess it will eventually happen.

I have a website but no ads. Also I created it so long ago that it is not even mobile friendly. LOL. But still I enjoy the fact that I have a free site meter to go to so I can find out who's been on my site and from exactly what organization or country they originated from This is a boost to my self esteem.
