Do you have a prayer room in your home?

I don't. I was just wondering. I know some use their mantle over their fireplace as a place to display statues of the Virgin Mary or Baby Jesus. Some people place the Crucifix over the head of the bed.

I am familiar with some of the ways in which candles are also used as a form of worship.

I myself have no such things. I do have a picture of an image of Jesus, based on the artist child who had a vision of Him years ago as a very young girl. More can be learned of this picture by watching, 'Heaven is for Real'

But I pray usually in my bedroom at night when I am about to retire from the day.

In my man cave there is a picture of the image of Christ's likeness. This image is for me to constantly be reminded of his presence in my life and that He is always watching and that I must do good things and honorable things in my life to be worthy of His grace.

For some using a symbol that represents Christ on the cross is an offense because it appears to glorify His death. I am also told this symbolism is essentially the same as wearing a bullet at the end of a necklace. I keep the Cross, not because I admire it but as a reminder that Jesus was sacrificed for my sins. I am also told that Jesus was not necessarily placed on a cross but rather on a post. In any event, the fact is, Jesus was killed by man. Jesus died because of all sinners.

The least we can do is to pray for forgiveness. The times are closer to the end. Not necessarily today nor tomorrow nor in my lifetime nor in yours but on a scale of human existence, in the grand scheme of history, the time for the return of Jesus to this world is drawing closer but with that comes the rapture, with that comes the Anti-Christ, with that comes wars and rumors of war.

If you do not have a prayer room in your home or you don't have a home in which to pray in, you can do this simple thing, talk to God. Ask him for strength to make it through each day. He will listen. No one single human has any control over God's true plan for us. Only God himself with his son Jesus, can actually carry out the final acts that will make this world a paradise and rid it of all of it's sin forever, never to come back again but be as pure as snow and innocent as a lamb.

No, I don't have one of those, though I was in a house many years ago where they had what is called, I think, a Prie Dieu, in their upper landing, outside the bedrooms, so that family could pray before going to bed. I think that having a special place for peace and quiet in the house is important.
