I'm certain that many of us have been through a situation where our hard work has simply gone "poof" thanks to the vagaries of magnetic data storage or the sudden shutdown of an online site. I myself have lost a lot of my early writing due to data corruption or the degradation of the storage media over time. That's why it's so important to have backups.

Bubblews is gone. I had already removed many of my posts prior to moving over to PersonaPaper but I wanted to save what was left... only to have arrived too late to do so. I'm hoping that my work is truly gone and not stored on a hard drive someplace where it can potentially be used by someone else.

I'm now in the process of saving everything that I've posted here, and it'll all be deleted when I'm done. In future I might have some fun by reposting some on my main blog just to see if anything has changed compared to the time I wrote the original post.

I know where you are coming. But I guess I have no time to do it.... And since I don't know where to put it. I have the copy of my old writings here in persona and it is well kept.

I only wish I had done more backups in days gone by. I try to print my favorite articles when I can afford the ink. lol.
