Decluttering For Your Health

Too Much
Many of us have too many possessions these days and you know what? All that stuff is making us sick!
How Does It Make Us Sick?
- It takes up space. We don't have enough room to move around and we yell at the kids if they trip over something
- It needs cleaned, dusted, polished, vacuumed, washed, etc. It makes us feel tired looking at all the work to be done and ill if we don't keep it reasonably clean
- It needs insured. If the "thing" is expensive, you don't want it lost damaged or stolen so you insure it in case something happens. That can be expensive
- It causes rows. Sometimes we pay more attention to our stuff than we do to our people. Or relatives quarrel over who will have it when you die.
How Do We Reduce It?
One way is to take small steps to develop a habit of decluttering .

I know. We are all trying. My daughter is doing quite well at it. I need to get stuck into my thesis and declutter all the unwanted bits from it!

I always hang onto some small things and think they come in handy one day .

I know. If we get rid of them,we always find an excuse for saying, "I should have kept those"!
