What book are you reading today?

You know what a book is don't you? It's not that difficult to wrap your head around this concept is it?

A book is a 6 sided object with text and pictures on each page.

A book has an introduction, about the author, a preface and index and a basic introduction and after that it is usually divided into separate chapters that proceed in a fashion like a story from beginning to middle to the ending.

The Martian is the most recent book I read lately. It was provided by a good friend who lent it to me.

It is a book about a man who is left for dead on Mars by his crew and he survives until they come back and get him and finally take him back home to Earth. The writer of this novel is Andy Weir.

I recommend this book to one who likes easy reading from the Sci-Fi category of books most recently on sale at this time.

There is a movie by this title which is an adaptation from the book by Andy Weir.

Check this book out at your local public library. You might like it and if you do you may develop a strange fascination with the potato.

I recently read three books by Daphne Du Maurier. She is one of my favourite authors. The books are The King's General, The Flight of the Falcon and The House on the Strand.

I like science fiction, and science fantasy. At present, I am reading a couple of books by Anne McCaffery, on the Dragons of Pern. I love that series.

It's good to know you guys have time to read books and enjoy them also. I wonder if I will ever eventually purchase any of our fellow writer friend's E-books from Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. I read some from a book written by the author White Feather. Is anyone familiar with this author? He was a writer at one of the writing sites we have been to recently but I did not check out his profile. I may have it in my archives though. DW DAVIS is also a writer. Has anyone purchased any of his books? I see he is at myLot and haven't heard from him lately here at Persona Paper. Hmm.
