How to boost traffic at your blog without using AdSense.
To write for a site that uses ads to generate earnings a penny at a time or to blog your own site and earn money by selling your own products, e-books, arts and crafts personal advice, etc.
The list of active members at this site just a few months ago was approx. 1530.
Now, just a few months later after ad revenue was removed and most of the members wanted revenue and stopped writing here, it was a clear indication that the prime motivating factor in writing for Persona Paper was to earn some money for writing.
The types of ads that pay the writers and the owners especially was either AdSense or AdChoices
I see both types of ads being used on various other sites that are continuing to maintain the ability to pay writers who are active with their respective writing sites.
Let's see. What types of ads and ad sources are out there that would help grow a site and create motivation for membership by other writers?
Apparently there are some real reasons why bloggers do not succeed using ads like AdSense on their blogs. Read this article and find out why.
So, what does a blogger need to earn money on their blog sites?
You need a product or service to sell to the visitor at your blog site. If you write about science you might offer a copy of your latest e-book, Science projects for young people for sale at $3.99 a copy.
or if you have a blog about needlepoint, you need to create a market for your products to sell through mail order of perhaps your hand made sweaters or embroidery covered book covers.
If you are into survival, you might like to advertise a survival book you have written yourself and go into partnership with someone who makes survival kits and will offer you a deal or a cut on each product sold through your site.
If you want others to read your e-books you might simply create icon links to your e-books so others will go take a look and maybe even buy a few.
If you have nothing, no product at all to sell you can still find ways to earn money by offering services like Helping people find their ancestral roots for a flat fee of say, 30.00 and earn money by being a self made entrepreneur using your natural aptitude and previous experiences.
You may want to provide medical advice for those who have autism and find a person who writes books about this and go into a partnership by offering to promote their books at your site for a commission on each book sale.
Meantime if you feel you really must have ads on your blog, place them somewhere out of the text area so that way they can be read after your meaningful article that you spent time and energy composing for quality content to be read and appreciated by the reader then let them scroll down to the bottom of the page and look at all the wonderful AdSense and AdChoices ads that you want to offer. If you can though, you should find a way to let the reader scroll from a drop down list all the ads so that way if you have many ads in succession they only have to see one and scroll along the thumbnails top to bottom or left to right until they find one they chose to click on for themselves.
I hope this has been helpful for you and empowers you to do more than just make your own blog but give you the hope of earning real revenue from offers that related intrinsically to the topics you find meaningful to write about that are within context of your own sensibilities and that of the reader.
