Social Media ... The new gateway to the dark web.

If you are on Twitter or Facebook or Tumblr you might have some follower but not just any kind of follower. Nope, rather, some kind of dark web terrorist sympathizer trying to recruit YOU.

The dark web is real but you don't necessarily have to dig deep to find it any more. The messages from Isil and other terrorist nations could ruin a social media site by turning on the discontented, the uneducated, the disenfranchised youth of America.

Promises of a better life by joining their righteous cause! Yea right!

No wonder the FBI, NSA, NTSB, CIA and other governmental agencies frequently visit these sites and scour them for damage control.

If you are on social media you are being observed and your profile being written. It is best to realize this at the onset. It's only going to get more intense as the masters of criminal deception worm their way into the minds of children and adults alike creating flame wars, hate and promises of better days by joining their cause.

Don't think you have to have any connections to find them. They find you!

So, be careful out there when you interact with people who hide behind a mask of deception. You never really know the gender, race, religion, age or national affiliation or origin of any other so called follower. It's the deep web. It's darkness as it's never been before.

Why are so many sites failing? You might have guessed. Those who wear dark masks who watch behind the veil of obscurity. The friends and followers you have now on social media sites could be out for blood, yours. That is why I only interact with people here and at a few other sites or with my immediate family and let the FOLLOWERS follow me but I won't interact with any of those who I neither know nor trust. They are not my family. They are potential terrorists.

Any media you use, phone, or computer is fair game for terrorists and governments alike! You ARE being watched and listened to and profiled and so am I.

Well now. It seems you have done your research. But you know this doesn't make me feel that much better.

I don't worry about it. If people want to know my life and steal my secrets, then so be it. Target me. I won't go down without making my mouth slap. They will all get a piece of my mind.lol

When you look at at any one of us could be a potential threat. You don't know anybody so you have to just go on gut instinct a lot of times. And sometimes you're wrong... But I think most people are pretty darn good

This must be true. I made it 58 years so far and mostly I have faith in basic human kindness. The media paints a darker picture of man's nature. This is why I have a tendency not to trust what I see on the screen as it tends to exaggerate things especially politics and reality t.v. LOL.

Edward Snowden's Wikileaks apparently showed that Governments do a LOT more surveillance on their citizens than they would have us believe.

Snowden had courage I tell you that.
