Forever Goodbye

It's a hot sunny afternoon. Seated at a bamboo bench underneath the star apple tree watching the people and vehicles passing by.

Supposedly, it's a happy summer atmosphere but our family is still morning for the lost of our second sibling. It was just six months ago when our eldest has also passed away.

The feelings of the grieving heart and weary soul cannot be explained. So heavy and painful. The words cannot fathom the abyss of sorrow.

After the dark cold night, hopefully the dawn of hope will be born. A new life, a new hope with happiness and faith.

Loss of a loved one is difficult, forever. The intense emotions lessen and, in my experience, the good memories remain. I still want to pick up the phone and talk to my mother after 14 Yeats.

Sorrow and grief take a long time. Each person is different. I myself still grieve the loss of my brother (4 years ago), my mother (2 years ago) and my step mother ( 1 year ago). There is no time stamp on grieving. The good memories will take over and smiles will return.

Yes, it still hurts. I always try to bring in the good memories of my loved ones, but every once in a while the pain takes over the memories.
