Yes We Have the Storm Too!
Hello Persona Peeps. Apologies for not writing much on here. I have been majorly busy for 2016. Since the start of the year I have been given two extra jobs which means time is limiting in the online world. I treated myself to a lovely Amazon tablet and where I am beginning to read a lot more in the off hours when not working.
I am glad I decided to stay in...
It has been very rough in the last couple of weeks where the weather is concerned and I know I have probably picked up a cold from the beginnings of sneezes and that familiar sore throat coming on. We got snow for a week, it came and it went and now that the U.S has had terrible torrential weather, we are beginning to see some of it here in Scotland UK, if anything was like the wild gales we had yesterday with lots of rain.
I don't think I have ever seen rain like that move vertically in sheets and so quickly. I could see outside my workroom to how windy it was and even the bus shelters across the street were moving inwards with the force of the wind. People outside were hanging onto walls. It was really frightening!
Currently it is around 1am and everything is quiet and serene outside. There is no rain and there is a gentle breeze. I like working in the days off I have and into the late night/early mornings as I can concentrate more and even do some housework.
It just seems to me that we are getting these freak conditions on a period of weeks rather than constant weather that can be reliant. One of my pupils asked me yesterday if I had proper shoes as I always wear short wellington boots when I come in from outside; in the last two years I have gone through FOUR pairs of shoes and two out of the four were high premium quality shoes! It just seems that rubberised grippy soles are no use for the rain and wind in general. Either that or I am walking the wrong way!
In the next couple of weeks I will be posting some well over due reviews. After all that's what my name says on here! Thanks for reading. (c)Nar2Reviews2016.
