It sure posed for me and me alone

As I was strolling in my garden I saw something moving and was happy to see this peacock taking strides ever so gently. After finishing its round it flew up where our water tank is. It spent some time there knowing all the while I was there with my camera. It did not falter nor run away but gladly posed for me.
Peacocks visit our garden occasionally. I have had around 6 of them spending quite a bit of time on our roof and yet another one that came towards me allowing me to get its full movement. I caputred a video clip - it looked for magnificient.
Our garden is designed with birds in mind. Little wonder therefore we are honoured with different species all through the year.
Here is a video clip of that majestic bird that let me capture its movement a long time ago.

Peacocks seem very aware of their own photogenic nature. in zoo, they are easiest and most colourful to capture. where do these peacocks come from? Do they roam in wild before coming to your garden?

They have been displaced from their habitat by these concrete jungles.

Great photo that captures the "proud as a peacock." That is one handsome looking fellow.
