And to round our the trilogy.

I am currently half watching The Naked Gun. It's one that I've seen more than the other two and I'm not exactly sure why that is. Anyway, the movie just started about fifteen minutes ago and I have been watching in between phone calls and playing my game. Today has been pretty boring so I don't have a whole lot to write about.

Although while I have a free minute to talk and although he'll never see it I wanted to congratulate my friend N who is being sworn into the Army tomorrow morning in Boston. I'm super proud of him for taking this route with his life and know how excited he is for it. I think he's decided on a 'job' while he is in. I'm not really sure how it all works, but I'm still just as proud.

Over the weekend I decided to watch, again, Blake's 7. Got through the first two series. I should have gone with Naked Gun, wouldn't have taken so long!

If you get a chance, tell your friend N how much I appreciate his choice to serve his country in uniform and how much, as an old soldier myself, how much I respect his choice to join the Army.

I will definitely let him know when I speak to him next. I know I speak for a lot of us telling you that we appreciate your time in uniform too.

It was an honor, a privilege, and a family tradition being carried forward now by my oldest son. He makes at least the fourth generation in a row to serve.

Have only seen bits and pieces of that show. Thank your friend for being willing to serve for me

I spoke to N before he turned in for the night. He was touched by your thanks.
