Good for another month

I stopped biting my nails about 6 years ago. The habit lasted for about 50 years of my life. (I wrote about how I stopped biting my nails in an article about 8 months ago, which can be found at http://personapaper.com/RSS/corallevang)

Once every 4 weeks I have my nails done using a product that lasts nearly a month or so. I have tried several salons, but I really prefer going to one particular salon and to the same woman. I love what she does and I love her spirit. I also like the fact that I feel very put together and polished, no pun intended.

This time I went with a coral orange and add her put a fine sparkle over the top of it. I also had to cut them down to the tips of my fingers, as they were getting awfully long. If they get too long, I get the nails caught between the keys of the computer.

You have lovely hand. I never bother "doing" my nails as they are plug ugly. They are the spatulate kind with a very short nail bed and, when they begin to get long, a couple of them curve down over the ends of my fingers. I do nothing to draw attention to them!

That turned out lovely. The right person with that kind of personal service is half the battle. And lots of fun. I gave up on my own nail a long time ago.

Those are lovely nails that match equally lovely hands.

They look really nice. I know my sister and my dad used to bite their nails. I don't know if they still do, but I know they were trying to help each other out to stop biting their nails. Can't remember how it turned out.

I used to bite them so badly that they were about two thirds of the way with one third of the way down into my nail bed and amazingly they have reattached to a certain point to the towards the tips of my fingers. my mother when I was young I used to put Tabasco on my fingernails or there was this very bitter stuff that she used to put on there as well and all that made me do was learn to love hot peppers. it was a nasty habit but it was it was nearly 5554 I should say when I stopped biting them. Now at the age of 60 this is my hand

Your nail technician did a very fine job and the color looks good. I remember in high school in the typing classes the teacher always wanted short nails for the reason you stated.

Thank you, BeckyWiegers . I never would photograph my hand when I was younger, because I was ashamed of how my nails looked. The nail bed was down about a third lower than it is today.

Your nails look lovely and I really like the color. K doesn't color her nails. I think it comes from growing up on a dairy farm where short nails were a must working with the cows.

Very nice job. I'm afraid I don't pay much attention to my nails except to keep them trimmed.
