Frosty walk (12-26-15)

Well, I'm only three days late with this. :)

Back on the twenty-sixth, I took Angel for a walk down the short end of the airport road. It was chilly, and pretty frosty. These boards that someone put across the creek as a "bridge" for people to walk across was pretty well frosted, aside from the part in the foreground of the shot where the sun had started to melt it.

Photo taken by me12-26-15The leaves that were still in the bridges' shadow, of course, were still frosty. :)

Taken by me 12-26-15The creek was a little bit iced over--just a thin layer of ice.

Taken by me 12-26-15It was kind of neat looking. ;)

Taken by me 12-26-15Even though there was sun on this grass, the frost in the sun hadn't quite melted yet.

Taken by me 12-26-15It this spot, the sun had gotten to most of the grass.

Taken by me 12-26-15Here it was still frosty...

Taken by me 12-26-15And the sun was creeping in when we got closer to the "hole" in the fence where we got back on the street to head home. :)

Taken by meAnd...the last shot I took on this walk before we headed home. :)

You did have some frosty weather! :) I am not looking forward to snow! It has not snowed yet here in VA!

It's been pretty chilly out, but it was nice to get out in the air. :D

We've had some light frost here but nothing like what your photos show. It must have gotten quite cold for the creek to freeze over even a little bit.
