Good Sunday Morning, 20 Dec 15

This evening I will leave about 6 p.m. again to make the journey northeast. I have seven hours to get some things done.

It will be one of those typical weekend days when you plan and take care of upcoming chores. With only five days before the Christmas holiday, there will be things to do surrounding those preparations.

One thing that I must do is put together one more package to mail out that did not get finished by Saturday. It will go out to my sister in Oklahoma. If I can get to a post office before noon, then it may get there by Thursday. Otherwise, it will come in on the day after Christmas.

I want to get some baking done, as well, but it will have to wait until tomorrow night or Tuesday. I have no plans other than to make banana nut bread, using my mother's recipe. I have a nifty baking pan that has several mini-loaves (individual sized) to bake at once. I bought flour and sugar yesterday, so I should have all that I need, with the ripe bananas in my freezer. I may have to get some more eggs.

I also want to make some cranberry sauce/jam, so I can get that done today while doing laundry this afternoon.

Other than that, it will be a rather calm day. Gifts for family to bring on Christmas Eve and Day are all set aside with post-it notes, and all I have to do is wrap them, and they will be ready. I can wrap mid-week, if I do not get it done tomorrow.

I will try to get back in before leaving this evening, but if I do not, have a beautiful Sunday evening. May your upcoming week be filled with many blessings!

A very bright, cheery good morning to you CoralLevang but in my part of the world, darkness has descended and I must say good night. Don't forget to post pics of the banana nut bread and the recipe too. They sound yummy. 'Hugs' from a far away land.

Thanks, Gulrukh! ( Dawnwriter ) I will do so, when I get to that in a few days!

In my neck of the woods, it's mid-afternoon, with gray skies and mild temperatures; right now it's 76 degrees and we (yes, Loreley is here) have most of the house's windows open.

You certainly have a lot to keep you busy before the holidays. I sent out a number of e-card Christmas greetings yesterday.
