My Holiday Weekend Was Swell

Hey there, everyone. I know I said we'd play the weekend by ear, but obviously I wound up not posting at all haha. I guess I'll go through my lovely little weekend lol.

We watched the Thanksgiving Parade by flipping through two different channels, and once that was off, we watched Inside Out. Dinner was eventually ready and we all chowed down lol. It was yummy. I fell asleep at one point, and then we didn't do much of anything. We don't have a huge gathering for Thanksgiving, it's usually just those of us who live here. Christmas is another story though lol....

Anywho, I did hit up a really good sale on WWE Shop that night. I didn't buy one thing for myself; it was all for my friends - including my best friend. :) That stuff should be here later this week. I'm not mailing the other stuff until next week, so it's all good.

I went out with my best friend on Black Friday. We went to Alko so she could get a few things for work, and I bought my nieces a grab bag. They love those things, but the store that sold them near us closed down. We went to Big Lots and that was fun lol. I bought ornaments for the Christmas tree. :) When I got home, I hit up an online Hot Topic sale for my niece and nephew (they're both teenagers). I chose the ship-to-store method, and I'm still waiting for that order to be shipped to the store. I only went to Michaels later that night, but I didn't get anything. I don't remember what I did the rest of the evening. I think I just did a whole bunch of nothing.

My family went to the Festival of Trees on Saturday, and it was really nice. :) I even rode the carousel with my nieces. When we got home, I went to Toys 'R' Us and Walmart with my best friend. I picked up a few things for Christmas, so yayyy. :) I don't remember what else I got, but it's not important. When I got home, I made a hot chocolate, worked on my Christmas cards and watched Frosty and Frosty Returns. :)

We wound up watching the munchkin for a few hours yesterday. It's rare that we babysit on the weekends, but my best friend really needed someone to watch him. It was fine. He watched Christmas cartoons with us lol. :) Once he was picked up, I took a nap and then decided to get a head start on my work. I did three assignments last night. I actually wanted to do more, but my browsers and the websites I needed to use (the resources for the articles) weren't getting along. :-x I did wind up taking advantage of the Cyber Monday sale on WWE Shop, once again, for other people.

It's amazing how a week or two ago, I was talking about the fact that I wasn't caught up with my Christmas shopping, and now I'm a little over halfway done. :) I may need to get labels. I totally forgot about that haha.

Today was business as usual. We didn't get the munchkin until this afternoon, and I'm actually about to start on my work. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. Take care, everyone! :)

I am glad you had a great and wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday weekend!

I sometimes find myself doing last minute stuff, a week or even a few days before December 25th. I didn't know World Wrestling Entertainment had a place to buy stuff from. Neat.

Seemed that it was really a blast. We also had long vacation here but it became staycation since we were only inside the house all day

What kind of things are you buying from the WWE Shop?

I don't wanna go into specifics in case my friends come across this, since I usually tweet it out. But you can find all sorts of stuff on WWE Shop --- t-shirts, hats, wristbands, armbands, pendants, sweatpants, button boots, cup holders, teddy bears, decor, etc. It's a WWE fan's dream come true lol. I have been eyeing up a few things for myself, but after Christmas (my birthday is in January anyways); my two shopping sprees on there were for other people.

I will have to check out the WWE Shop and see if they have any T-shirts from wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, and Roddy Piper.
