Affiliate Marketing Website

I've started a niche blog to try out affiliate marketing mostly through my Amazon Associates account. Although it's probably not the best place to build a site, I created this site on Blogger.com. There are many website builders out there to choose from, but I know Blogger the best. Many of the website builders are even free, but it takes time to familiarize yourself with them.

The affiliate marketing idea is a great one for the right people, but I think it's a negative way to spend your time if your not really selling something you believe in. For instance, my site is about golfing called Better Golfing Days , and as I was looking through the affiliates on Clickbank I saw a lot of services that were simply hype and pomp with no real substance. I couldn't really try to promote these things and run a site about something I love.

Of course, a person doesn't have to be an affiliate with products they love, but it seems ethical to at least believe in what we are selling, otherwise what is the point?

I think it's very important to deal with things you are interested in, otherwise your blog will reflect your lack of passion for the subject. Yes, I agree, ethics is important.
