On Thanksgiving Morning

I just finished a blog posting, When Thanksgiving Day Changes . I took my Thanksgiving Eve piece from here yesterday, and expanded it to share more with the readers of my WordPress blog.

Yesterday and last night, I watched 11 episodes of the third season of Scandal . I am enjoying this season, because it is getting into the back story of some of the characters. It starts putting the depth to them, and an understanding of the decisions they make based on their experiences, often in youth. I think I have about five or six episodes remaining, and then I have the fourth season checked out from the library.

Today, I am meeting RGD and we are going to drive up to try to visit our daughter, who is having a rough time. Whether or not she will be there to open the door or to get in the car with us to find dinner at a coffee shop that may be open will be the big surprise. Please keep her in your thoughts. Life changes are never easy.

I suppose I should jump in the shower now and get going before noon.

Have a blessed day.

I hope you found your daughter, and an open cafe to eat at. Most places here at Long Beach are closed today.

I think that the Shari's and Denny's restaurants are open.

I just said a prayer for your daughter. I hope your visit will be a blessing for all of you. We will expect a report when you get back. Stay safe.

I have celebrated Thanksgiving a few time while visiting the U.S, but it is not really celebrated in other countries. I must say though that my children used to celebrate it while they were in kindergarten in Austria. I give thanks too, but don't need a turkey to do it!
