Are Muslim believers really America's enemies?

America's intelligence agencies have put it into The People's Heads, that America is involved in some kind of "Holy War"....

They blame all the current violence on The Muslim Faith...

Nothing could be further from the actual truth...

If we are truly fighting a "Holy War" then I need to ask why on 9/11 did ZERO jets fly into The Vatican???

Are Muslims afraid of the Catholics? The Pope?

Did God protect the Holy Church,

as He dynamically fail to protect 3000 plus people in New York?

I think not...

The American government has used 'Religion' as a means of training war soldiers, since it's inception...

"For God & Country" you are told as you train...

If you believe that we are involved in a "Holy War" against the Islamic People,

you are probably stupid enough to vote for Donald Trump....

Religion has always been a popular way to control people. I wish more would wake up and see that for themselves.

The Muslims have engaged in a holy war against Christians for centuries or did the Crusades and the Moors attempting to overrun Europe escaped your mind? Yes, Christian faiths have done their damage but not as much for as long as the fanatical Muslims. I am an atheist btw. Gee, thank you for pointing out I am stupid because I would vote for Trump over Clinton. I bow to your wisdom and all knowing brilliance when I am but a mere stupid person.

We should all believe in the Holy Trinity and God would not tell us to harm one another in no case. War is a human choice that really needs thought out before committing to it.

Some of the Muslims are extremists and do cause a lot of terrorist attacks. But, I do think that not all of them are terrorists and are more peaceful.

My views on the Muslims are changing daily.. BTW I'm Pagan. :) I understand that they are not all dangerous and out to get us. I have no problem allowing them into our country, but I believe that OUR people have to come first. Get our homeless into homes, there should never ever be a homeless Veteran living on the street. Our country is made up of so many religions, some are more peaceful than other's. I'm also voting for Trump because he has always been for America and it's people.

Oh, DWDavisRSL ! Have you seen this one and the responses??

While it has taken a long time, the truly faithful among the Islamic faith are finally starting to voice publicly what they've felt privately throughout this so-called war on terror. They deplore the violence being done in the name of their faith and disown and disavow groups like Al Qaeda and (non)ISIS. I hope this willingness to denounce those groups extends into a willingness to inform on their operatives trying to hide in the Islamic communities of western countries.

The Crusaders spent more time looting the villages along the way to the Holy Land, killing Jews and peasants for their meager possessions, than they did fighting to free the Levant from the Muslims. In one Crusade, they never made it to the Holy Land at all but stopped in Constantinople to raid the Christian churches there for the artifacts and treasures they contained.

Also, the time the Moors held sway in Spain was a relatively enlightened time of co-existence and religious tolerance that far exceeded the rule of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella that followed it. One of that Christian couples first acts was to banish all the Jews from Spain.

And considering the tens of millions that were slaughtered in Russia/USSR by its atheist leaders, why do you feel calling yourself one absolves you of any blame for atrocities committed by its followers even as you blame all Muslims and all Christians for the atrocities committed by some.

Many groups of indigenous peoples in the Americas, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Polynesia might dispute your assertion that the Christian faith has not done as much damage for as long as the fanatical Muslims.

I am an atheist and the first one to condemn the acts of Christians in the past. But are Christian extremists going around slaughtering people in today's world? No, that would be Muslim extremists. Once again, you repeating the current liberal manta of proclaiming Christians as vile as Muslims so it's okay to let Muslims in. Why do you insist that we take these people? To what purpose?

DWDavisRSL wrote on November 21, 2015, 5:47 PM

And once again you have missed the point. I was simply clarifying the history that you were using to justify hating all Muslims around the world and declaring each and every one of them our enemy. I have not said that either Christians or Muslims are vile. Has it occurred to you that some Muslims living in primarily Islamic countries might find the actions of western nations in the Middle East just as reprehensible to them as the actions of the terrorists who claim the mantle of Islam are to us? Before you use historical references to support your hatred, you should learn your history.

I am not proclaiming any liberal mantra. I am just stating the facts as I know them. I am not the one who gets all his news of the world from right wing talk radio hosts. You must be a fan of Sean Hannity. You tend to use a lot of the same language he does.

Do you sometimes get the feeling you and I are strangers in a strange land and we must stick together for both our sakes?
