A Good Camera is Necessary for YouTube Videos

This may seem like an obvious point but you’d be surprised at how many people there are making YouTube videos with their smart phone video camera. These same people wonder why they are not getting any views or new subscribers when their videos are poor quality. You may want to check out a few different types of cameras until you get the video quality you’re looking for. While you may think that this is a waste of good money, consider the videos that you like to watch. Are they hard to view because of the camera quality? If you cannot honestly say you like watching poor quality videos then the choice is obvious. Buy the good quality camera and you’ll see just how quickly you add new subscribers and how many views and comments you get on your videos.

You are, of course, quite correct! Smart phone cameras were developed specifically for posting images onto social networking sites. Because they are small and easy to use they are convenient for snatching quick images and uploading them instantly. No thought is required but the results are rarely of good quality but you don't really need a very expensive camera to achieve good results. My YouTube videos are shot with a Canon SX500IS - a bridge camera which has most of the functions of a full DSLR at half the size and weight and a quarter of the cost!
