Introduction for myorientallife
The beginning of my fourth year teaching English in China seems like a good time to finally share my experiences namely, the good, the bad and the inbetween! After feeling like I was stagnating in my home country of England, the esorteric beauty and total fascination of the orient has certainly rejuvenated me. It hasn't been all roses; when I arrived the only Chinese words I knew were 'ni hao.' Which, of course, means 'hello.' I've learnt a few more since then (thankfully) and like everything else it's been part of an unforgettable process and I wouldn't change a single day.
If you've been in a similar position perhaps we can trade notes. If you'd like to live vicariously through my writing, you're very welcome.
Looking forward to being part of the Persona Paper community!

I have never taught English as a second language but it is something I have really considered. It is nice to meet you on here.
