Warning: PP may cut off some of your images

I've discovered that images added in the body of a PersonaPaper article may not display completely.

I just happened to find that an image I used to illustrate a "how-to" was not fully visible on some platforms. I create my articles on a desktop computer with a standard wide-screen display. When I inserted the image, it showed exactly as expected. However, when I accessed that article on my laptop, I found that the image was cut off on the right side, hiding important details. Here is that image, from my PP article on how to retrieve your Bubblews articles now that the site has closed down (http://personapaper.com/article/42013-you-may-be-able-to-retrieve-some-of-your-bubblews-posts):

Ron Franklin

On my laptop the right-hand portion of the image was cut off, leaving the reader unable to see the "Click the triangle..." text.

But it gets even worse. I then looked at that article on my mobile device (a Kindle). Practically half the image did not show (cropped from the right).

I've used the same image on another site, and it displays correctly on all three platforms. So, this is obviously a PP problem.

So be aware. If you include images in the body of your PersonaPaper article, they may not display correctly on some platforms.

I've had problems with screen images for a while. The page loads and I get only comments, for example or I get only the band the shows arrow to the post immediately before and immediately ahead of the present post.

Thanks for sharing this information. I haven't posted any pictures in the middle of my text yet, so it is good to be aware of this.

Actually I am not after with the images of any article posted here. I am more appreciative in your content.

This problem isn't confined to Persona Paper. When you consider the variety of devices of all sizes which can be used to post/read content online something has to give and often it is image size. Some devices won't even let you place an image on a post!

On my laptop, I do not find this. I do, however, find it on my cell phone.
