Busy little bee

Apart from helping out in the main secretaries’ office at work (we are two admins down at the moment, as one quit and the other is on sick leave) I have been taking a mountain of minutes in meetings , fixing people’s printer woes at work and frantically typing reviews of apps and content for contacts’ websites every other minute on the phone or the laptop. With the demise of the other site, I now have more time to devote to that, and may even finally complete work on my blog now that I don’t have to wait for the articles from the other site to be deleted on request.
A few weeks ago I spent an entire weekend relisting all my eBay items, and since then, the list has dropped somewhat as items have obligingly flown off to new homes. So once again this weekend will be spent listing items, as we still have lots to remove. I am relying on this money to pay down my credit card, and little by little, it is. I also have eight pieces of content to write for my online contact who is a Clean 9 rep (a range of weight loss and healthy lifestyle products), a new collection on my favorite Feng Shui site to look at and two more apps where the developers have asked me to test run the free versions and review them. I like to be busy but really, this is getting ridiculous. It is perhaps a good thing I have almost entirely opted out of the Christmas party social season this year, apart from seeing my mother-in-law and attending a couple of events at and on behalf of the Centre for Computing History.
If anyone would like to check whether their work elsewhere is still accessible anywhere else, I can recommend Copyscape Pro. You have to sign up for 200 credits (at 5c a credit or something like that). Each credit will check up to 2,000 words. I currently have 161 credits left which will go out of date in early January 2016, so if anyone wants to help me use them up, let me know and I'll give you an email address to send copies of anything you would like checked.
But for now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be away. Purple baby-san needs to restart to run AVG updates and then I have serious writing to do. You can catch me the other side of around 1,200 words and three hours' time.
