Oops, I gave A Mom Lecture Out Of Habit

Being a mom means knowing how to give a good lecture, followed by a questions and answer session. As a parent, we use it as a teaching tool. Sometimes, the mom instinct might go to far. I was playing my favorite mmorpg, order and chaos when two grown men started into a testosterone blood bath on our global chat. I guess I was in mom mode because I gave them both a stern lecture on our global chat. Then, global went silent, not one word was spoke. A few moments later, one on them asked me, "Are you a mom?" This is the point when I realized I lectures two grown men. Rather embarrassed I said yes. Then the other said, "You must be a great mom" I was rather shocked because he was being serious. He then said, " If my wife spoke to our kids that way, they might actually behave." That actually made me feel terrible, and I thought, well you could put down your game and go talk to your kids, but instead I just logged of to spend time with mine! Have you ever given a mom lecture to someone who wasn't your kid?

Moms do have a way of talking to their children and even to grow men. It does seem to be effective. But a parent is a parent, man or woman. And when it comes to the children, we both have to have a hand in whatever it is that needs to be done.
