Bedtime Routine For Adults

I don't have a solid betime routine, but my kids do. I use one for them because it is healthier. A bedtime routine tells your body it's time to go to bed. Your body gets the message, and releases chemistry to help you rest. I need to make a bedtime routine for myself. My body doesn't seem to know when to call it quits. If bedtime routines are good for the kids, they are good for me. I want to take electronics out of my bedtime routine, though. They emit light frequencies that interfere with sleep. I am thinking about having caffeine free tea and a shower as part of my betime routine. I know that's not all, something in missing, but I am not sure what! Do you have a bed time routine? What are some ideas fof an adults bedtime routine?

I always take a shower and then read for 10-15 minutes before sleeping. You might also try exercising a little.

I have a set bedtime and time for bed for my kids, lie you do. I think it's good for them. I think it'd be harder to put them to bed if they didn't have a set time or a bit of a routine. As for me, I don't have a set time but I do have a bit of a routine. I do brush my teeth and go to the bathroom before bed. I'll sometimes read as well.

Reading helps me relax, and fall asleep. But the problem is that I can never get very far in the book.

I just head to bed when I get tired

It helps me relax as well. I don't always get very far either. Sometimes, I'll only read a page or two.

My children do. I don't though. I try to but I don't really have a set on for myself. I should. Like getting a shower and reading or knitting.
