Midweek Rambling

Though I was not coherent and do not remember actually hearing our National Anthem this morning, when I woke up and looked at the clock, it was 8:01 a.m. I am sure it was what awakened me this morning.
It was grey and cloudy earlier, but it looks like there is a bit of sunshine trying to peek through the clouds now, after the noon hour.
I have been playing around with Excel spreadsheets and learning what I can do. It may seem simple to some, but I am jazzed at the thought of being able to take the numbers I plug in daily and write simple formulas to make life easier. Thanks to MegL , I have figured out how to insert a simple graph!
I have not eaten since last night at dinner, so I am going to get moving and take advantage of lunch and dinner for veterans today. I have never before done this.
I think that Olive Garden will be dinner, and one of the small casinos in the area has a buffet lunch with $25 free play for veterans. That sure seems like a lot of food to eat in one day. I will likely opt for only one.
I need to make it an early night. I have two days to get things accomplished (after today) before leaving on my business trip.
But, for today, I will get out and enjoy the little bit of sunshine and a free meal.
Have a great day!

A free meal is always welcome - but there is the old saying ''There's no such thing as a free meal'' so watch out!

Free meals are always the best and maybe you can win a little something at the casino.

I still don't know how to use an Excel spreadsheet. I never took a course and never really played around with it to teach myself.

Casino and free plays! I don't believe it.

I find them good fun. Also my mental arithmetic skills are not as good as they used to be, so I start up a spreadsheet because it's quicker than getting out the calculator, even the one online!
