Owls and Online Banking

It is midnight and I have my windows open and hear the call of (what I think is) a barred owl in the distance.

I have finished my administrative duties, and submitted my travel expense report and scanned receipts to the project manager of our team. I was able to do my scanning at the library for free straight to my email this afternoon. I will have to check to see if my local library has the same service.

I have also completed half of my online banking. I have set up eBills for those things, which have the service available through my institution. I am also beginning to switch to paperless billing. Perhaps, I am getting with the program. I just know that paper bills often go unopened and unnoticed.

Tomorrow, I have to get through my stack and pay some medical bills that have come in. It seems the never-ending task, but I hope that by making these small changes, my life will be managed a little more easily.

I should probably try to get some shut-eye now, but I think I will be up for awhile yet. The owls are a bit noisy tonight, but I love the sounds of this variety.

It's good to see that you have completed your admin duties. Doesn't it feel good now to know that you can be paid? Online banking and paperless billing is the only way to go if you want to save a lot of time.

The reimbursement for those items will be nice, yes. I will simply put that amount on one of my credit cards for a healthy payment soon.
It will be awhile before the contract gets paid, but hopefully, we shall see that finalize before year's end, not only with expenses, but also with pay.

I have done online banking for most things for several years, but some of the things like paperless or eBills have come more slowly. I resist things that seem like it takes away some control. I have had to really be willing to look at it differently that it gives me more control/easier control. I am just not great with deadlines and paperwork, so this is a good option for me, I think.

Sounds like a very productive day. Glad you were able to get so much done. Enjoy the owls.

Glad to see that you getting items done and again being somewhat organized to move on with other things.

Have to get my laundry done this upcoming week and packed again for the next trip.

Good luck in Tampa. Going from the west coast to the east coast. Jet lag might be a big issue with all the time zones and turning the clocks back.

I definitely think it is one thing that took its toll on me this last month. Tampa will be a shorter trip and another time zone. But I'll be on the same zone with &AbbyG and DWDavisRSL and lexiconlover and more!

Sometimes I wish I was still on the Eastern seaboard.

If you are not great with deadlines and the paperwork, it is the best option.

I love online banking, I can't believe how we used to do it way back when!

I'll learn to love it.
