Driving Ms. Coco

After watching several more episodes of Downton Abbey Season 5, I wish I had a driver to take me around where I needed to go. Better yet, if I could find a servant to do the things that I no longer like to do, might be better.

But, no such luck. Nor was I born into old money. I have not made the kind of new money that would afford me this kind of lifestyle.

Never have I had a ladies' maid, a housekeeper, a butler, a driver, a cook, or a bottle washer.

So, I will drive myself around today. Just like I did yesterday locally to my stylist to get my hair cut and colored. To one credit union to take care of some banking business. To the grocery store.

Today, it will be to Tacoma to finish up other business. And to get my nails done. Perhaps, I will stop for a coffee with a friend, if she is available.

Have a great day!

I like driving so I would not want a driver but a house keeper would be very very nice. Have a good day.

I do not mind driving or doing chores, the only thing about driving is dealing with the other drivers who do not have patience.

I'm going nuts having to rely on my husband to shop for me, since although I can drive again, I can't lift the groceries in and out of the car unless I carry items one by one if they are heavy. I don't like shopping, but it's tough having someone else do my produce shopping for me.

I've never watched Downtown Abbey, but I have been to where it is filmed

I think it would be neat to see where Downton is filmed.

I sometimes wish I could afford a driver. I really don't like to drive, but I know I must do it to do the things I need to do outside the home.

The only time I had a servant was when the government paid for it when they sent me to Taiwan for a year's training in Chinese.

I think I would feel odd having a servant.

Perhaps if you changed your name to Daisy then the moniker would come with a driver.
