Wednesday Writing Prompt for November 4, 2015

My Introductory post .

The prompt for today is: election results

This is what I wrote:

Did the people you voted for yesterday (Assuming whoever is reading this is a registered voter in the US and you actually voted) win? Do you even know if the people you voted for won? I’m not talking about big, state wide races like governor or whatever, but smaller things like for school boards. As you went down the ballot, were there more and more instances of, “I have no idea who these people are.” Did you just pick a party, or just randomly guess? And if you do happen to see the results, will you remember who you voted for?

Isn’t our democracy grand?
