I Survived the Holiday!

Hi,Persona Peeps! Holiday is over and I am so wiped out.In my country, Philippines, it is a tradition to observe All Soul's Day and All Saint's Day.

Usually, we go to the cemetery and visit the tomb of our departed loved ones. This year, because of my baby, I did not tag along with my family to

the cemetery. I lit a candle in the alter and that's it.

My little one and I stayed home all day. That means,I was a super mommy for one and a half day. Whew! That's why after the

holiday,I felt like my feet could not hold me anymore hahaha. My little one is a cry baby; she wants to be carried or cradled most of the time.

I almost have gone crazy. I could hardly pee at all. It took like two hours before I could void my bladder because I could not put my baby down

unless she was asleep. I bathed, fed, changed diapers, put her to sleep, fed her again and put her to sleep again hahaha. Not that I don't do that on

on a regular day.But, in ordinary days, I have my mom's back.You know,what I mean.

Oh mommy duties. I am proud of myself. I survived!

I'm glad you and your little one got through the holiday without your usual family helpers around. Your recounting of that day and a half took me right back to the time my oldest daughter was an infant -- those were some trying times, but we did both come through it unscathed. : )

I am glad that you survived the last few days on your own. You are a strong woman!
