Back Over 100 to Start My November

As I analyzed my statistics for my October goals and results article, I was surprised that the daily results took such an immediate nose-dive, once I left on my business trip. It would have made more sense to me to see a more gradual decline.

Now that I am back home, even though I will be rather busy between now and the end of the year, I have set my November goals through to the day before our Thanksgiving holiday. One of the factors that must be immediately addressed is my daily coin average.

Yesterday, I spent much of the day napping to get the rest needed to heal, and watching the Cowboy vs. Seahawks game, and the final game of the World Series. Even so, I was able to manage to submit five articles in a 24-hour period, and earning 150 coins for the day. That figure nearly tripled the average daily coinage earned from October 14-31.

Slowly, but surely, I will get back into my groove, where I feel comfortable again. I hope to see some of the people who seem to have dropped off while I was away.

It's nice to be home again, I'm sure, Coral. Your work is just as important as the writing you do here, so write what you can when you can and we'll all look forward to reading you. I hope you had a good rest!

Thank you so much &6snowroses .6doves4peace ! (I hope this tags you, though I think the period in your name doesn't allow it to be tagged. Maybe AliCanary or Kasman would know what to do here?)

I appreciate your support!

As most of what we earn is from what we do it is not surprising. You were not able to comment a lot so it dropped a lot

Oh, we can all hope that at some point our followers will read all 500 articles. LOL

I think I am improving in my stats for I am trying to use your tips. I wrote six articles yesterday and read and commented on others as well. I am steadily getting there for I went from 13% to 15% in only a few days. Thanks.

That's the way to do it! emoticon

I am learning from you.

You're doing very well! I am currently struggling with accessibility issues, but I'll try to make a full return soon.

I'm glad you're getting your groove back. Hopefully you are right and some of the folks who've been quiet will perk up again soon.

I think you paid more attention to interacting and posting here on PP than watching the baseball and football game. Great that you are getting back in the groove.

Just don't learn my bad habits! emoticon :winking:

AliCanary I have missed you. Looking forward to your being back!

CoralLevang wrote on November 3, 2015, 11:28 AM

DWDavisRSL Well, I will do my best to perk up...that's where I can influence.
Just as you do. emoticon

Paulie ....oh, I watched both games, irrespective of PP. Thank you for your kind words.

I could never have multi-tasked like you did.

geny211 wrote on November 4, 2015, 7:18 AM

That's great. maybe one day i will be so popular as you are

CoralLevang wrote on November 4, 2015, 7:36 AM

geny211 I am not sure that it is popularity, but it is work.

I write, but most of the coins here come from commenting on others' work. At least that is how it works for me. I have written a fair amount on how that seems to be the case. Other writers have written similarly.

If you have not yet had the chance to read and connect, here are four with whom to start -- AliCanary , MegL , Feisty56 DWDavisRSL . There are many more...

Thank you for your help. I see it's a big community. I hope people will like what i write. Thank you again

CoralLevang wrote on November 4, 2015, 7:54 AM

Just start connecting with people, and reading and commenting. Also continue to write. People will like you and what you write.
But we cannot rely on writing alone. We always have to care about others. You'll find those whom you like as writers and as people.

You are so welcome. Glad to know you. emoticon

Thanks for mentioning me. I think it is something I have learned, that if you comment on someone else's work, they may return the compliment and comment on your post. Over time, I have found that I get to really look forward to posts from the people who post most often, it's rather like going to the canteen in work and having a quick chat with colleagues.
