Tuesday is Election Day here in the US, and I encourage all registered voters to get out and vote. I know it’s not the Presidential election, but all elections are important. Which is why every Election Day, I make sure that Political Pies – my collection of forty short stories of various themes and genres, but all dealing with politics – is free to download for Kindle. (I’m not entirely sure if I can link directly to it on here, but just to be sure, this link will take you to my page for it on my website, which has a link directly to Amazon.) The sale runs Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but grab your copy before it’s too late.
If the cover hasn’t sold you, here is the blurb for the book:
Everybody complains about politics, but does anyone do anything about it? Stephen L. Thompson’s attempt to do something about it is to collect forty of his short stories with a political element into his Political Pies anthology. His stories are either politically neutral or equally condemning of the national parties. Instead of trying to sway you to one ideology or another, his goal is to just get people thinking about politics in the hopes a rose might grow out of all the political manure.
