It Is Always Hard For Me To Follow

Instruction books whether they be constructed of paper or be totally online, always confuse me. I guess it is because I am not very mechanical in nature as some people are. My husband is very mechanical and can put things together very easily. There are many examples from through out the years. Once we bought one of those wardrobes from Wal-Mart that you had to put together. The instruction book had good directions but it looked like a complicated foreign language to me. My husband got his tools together, read the instructions step by step and put it together. Another time, we bought one of those "inversion tables" through the mail. It came in pieces and my husband followed the directions to put it together even though that was rather difficult. It took him awhile but he did it.

I can 'Do it yourself' for some things if there are not too many pieces, but over 40 or more forget it. Too confusing and I will let other people do it.

I hate just about anything that comes in a flat pack!

I always read and follow the instructions. My husband only ever looks at the manual if there is no alternative emoticon  ! So together we make a pretty good team for putting things together. The hardest one was written in good English with diagrams but it was still very complicated. It was a baby's high chair.

Most I have no trouble with, and some things are easy to figure out just looking at them

I do an okay job following the instructions that come with "build it yourself furniture" but the couple of pieces my wife put together by herself then to lean, or the doors don't work quite right. I know something is going to go wrong when I come home and she shows me the piece all put together and asks me what she should do with all the leftover connectors.

It has always been hard for me to put things together with or without instructions.

I do know that some instructions that come with some items are not very clear. I can attest to that because I had put together many things through the years. But the ones with good instructions are the best. And some, lets face it, are just no brainers to put together.
