Thursday Morning in San Antonio

Good moanin', ya'll!! Did you REALLY expect anything less from me this morning? emoticon :winking:

It is a quarter past seven, and I have been up for a half hour, and have already cleaned out my purse, and I have to meet my colleague at 8:30 in the lobby. We do not teach the first class until 2 p.m., but we will have to be up there about midday to get the lay of the land, set up the classroom, etc.

We left Dallas about 3:30 p.m. yesterday, but did not get to the hotel and checked in until nearly 11 p.m. That story will have to wait until later.

Things feel a bit chaotic right now, but I just need to trust the process, others, and myself. This really is uncharted territory in some ways.

P.S. I already miss you. I was looking forward to waking up to seeing you had been busy writing or commenting in the middle of the night. Notifications were minimal and coins were at six (6) last night since midnight. I DO, however, want to thank (and hug) you all for the good day yesterday having earned 167 coins, my first full day on the road. So, I want something to read tomorrow morning, when I have a little down time! Just like at a Motel 6, let us "keep the lights on"!! I hope you are all doing fine.

Okay, it is nearly 7:30. I need to find something to wear, "put my face on" and meet SR.

Unless they've improved substantially, I hope your hotel is better than the Motel 6's and Super 8's in that area. Kinda old home week for ya. Make sure to stop off at Gruene Outfitters and check on the trout fishing in the Guadalupe. I think you already missed the Festival. While it's a little 'early' for when I used to live down there, with the higher flows they negotiated after I left, it's supposed to be better year 'round now.

Still in Texas, then? I am reasonably sure Dallas in in Texas and I think San Antonio is there too? Hope the training goes well. Have a great time!

Hey Now!!! Well, you are in cowboy land. I am sure things, although hectic, will work out well. If you don't stress or get nervous, it will be fine. When are you expect to return home though? Hopefully soon.

Good luck with your first class today! You earned a little more than twice as many coins as I did yesterday. Your coin count will also be very good today.

I know I did not do my part yesterday. By the time I left school and went for part III of the root canal saga, got home, took care of the animals, and made supper I was to pooped to Persona. I am off work today due to a medical appointment and will try to do better.

Oh, hush! I'm doing crappy. I came back to the hotel last night and my legs were like elephant's legs. I fell asleep, though fitful, and only got two hours or so. I may just come back after I take my colleague to the airport and take a nap!

You've got good reason after the flight and the drive to San Antone. I wound up doing more driving than I expected today but I didn't mind, my new car is a pleasure to drive.

It's always fun to read your posts in backwards order. I'm glad everything worked out. I could only get one blog out today and a rough draft for another done. Hubby thought it was time for us to pick up walnuts and pick apples this afternoon at the other house. My knees are really feeling it.
