My tree is up already.. is yours?

I bought some white Owl ornaments last year at Wal-Mart at the end of the season. They are white and sparkly looking.
I like the look of them, but am fixing a few of them up by using nail polish with glitter in it.
I have a tree in the corner of my room and it's waiting for my Halloween and Christmas ornaments to go on it.
There are already blue and white lights on the tree so the ornaments will be going on as I fix them up.
The tree stays up all year round as there are times where I will watch television with only the tree lights on.
I really hate using the over head light in the room and actually have no light bulbs in it at the moment.
The owls in the photo's are a purple glitter owl and the white one glows in the dark.
I'll be making a few more later when I get more glitter nail polish.

We do put up seasonal decorations around the living room but our tree doesn't go up until after Thanksgiving and comes down on New Year's Day.

Very pretty, I have a couple of small trees that stay out and get decorated seasonally.I need to hang my little skeletons on them yet for Halloween

We no longer put a tree up. My cousin was given a "tree" made from driftwood as a decorative gift. It is just bare white driftwood branches, scoured by the sea and arranged in a tree form by a local artist. She has this displayed in her living room with a few lights on it all year round but she can dress it up or down for the season as she chooses.

We haven't had a tree since my son died over twenty years ago. I'm not a great one for decorating for the holidays anyway. I do enjoy the decorating others do, though.

I guess that is a good idea. Does it save on electricity throughout the year. I know you said you did not have any lightbulbs overhead just wondered if a lighted tree is cheaper.
