Lottery Strategies

I'm curious as to whether or not anyone knows of any good lottery strategies, especially those of you who have hit it big before. I have a cousin who has won big multiple times via scratch off tickets and at the area casino. I don't believe she has any particular method other than luck. Unfortunately, I have only won a few dollars on scratch-offs before and I'm afraid to spend more than a few dollars. I have heard of voodoo doctors who supposedly could help individuals with the winning lottery numbers if they perform certain tasks and/or spend their own money, though I am skeptical of such approaches. Winning the lottery seems like the luck of the draw. The first thing I would do is pay off my debts so I could live a little easier each month. I think most, if not all of us, would do that, right? Maybe there just is no magic formula or one has to just find the right method for him or her and stick with a plan. If anyone does have any words of wisdom or strategies that may have worked before, I would be interested in and appreciate hearing them if you'd care to share any of them.
