Wishes Are Coming True

It has been a rather strange day. Not strange as in bad, but that things are working out.

I am happy to say that things are coming together for this project that my friend, Liz, called me on. In fact, there is a possibility that I will be leaving on Tuesday, as there many be several more days that I can get training hours. It really is an almost unbelievable opportunity. I hope to have the contract paperwork tomorrow to review.

My sister is so excited, and we hope to have the schedule tomorrow, so we know what to expect and can make our plans accordingly. This opportunity is such a gift that has been given to us. It is hard for me to explain it right now, but will do so when I can.

It is coming at a time that is so appropriate, as well. I have been concerned about my daughter and her situation, but there is nothing I can do. I find it difficult to simply stand by, without getting annoyed for what I see as dragging her feet. But that is not my decision to make. Becoming busy on the project will divert my attention to something over which I do have some influence.

As it is nearly 1:30 a.m. and I have and immense amount of things to take care of tomorrow, especially if I have to leave next week, I better say, "Goodnight."

Oh, and I hope you have read about the new Best Caption Contest that I launched today. Make sure that you submit your caption! The first round decision will be made on Wednesday evening (PDT) October 7th.

Wow, sounds like something exciting is coming up! I know what you mean by those "strange days". Some days are just too good to be true it's almost surreal. Whatever it is I hope it will be a huge success for you. :)

Wow that is a great thing to read... I think you can all do it, and I know that everything will be fine and bless. And whatever reason I hope you and your daughter are all cool now.

Glad that things are working out for and I agree with cahaya1983, I have days that work out and I am also waiting to hear about a possible internship that could lead to a teaching job. Good luck.

Thank you, Mark. We've both waited many years for a "break" like this, and I hope it is all we want or need it to be. emoticon

wolfgirl569 I think the anticipation is as fun as the project will be in and of itself. I like this bit of adrenaline...:-) It's what pushes me.

crowntower thank you. And my daughter and I are "cool," but it's harder to be a parent of an adult child when you have to keep your mouth shut. LOL

thank you cahaya1983 ! I look forward to being able to share more. LOL And yes, it feels surreal, at times.

Thanks, MegL . We both realize that there is a risk, but we are both so "in."
