Tonight I Have a Hot Date

I am heading downstairs to "rustle me up some grub" in a few minutes. I picked up some butternut squash ravioli at Costco the other day, and an Asian Slaw salad kit. That may not sound like a good combination, but either/or sounds good, so why not both/and?

I also have a date with Matthew McConaughey that I have been putting off for a week. I have to return Mud (movie) to the library tomorrow, so if I do not watch it tonight, I am going to return it unseen.

If I am not tired after watch it (I did sleep until two this afternoon), then I will try to get through the last 80 pages of Orange Is the New Black (book). RGD got it at his library for me since I cannot get it easily at my library. I need to return it soon, as well.

So, this will be my seventh and final post for the day on the PP time stamp. I am sure that Matthew will be delighted to hear it.

Once again you successfully struck with an excellent post title which had me raising my eyebrows for a second.

A movie date without popcorn just isn't a date!

Popcorn can come after the salad and ravioli. I usually eat popcorn nightly, when watching tv.

Typical. Scrambling around, trying to get some last minute things done prior to dinner and a date. Oh well. Keeps 'em on their toes I guess.

Matt McConaughhey was a disappointment. It was an okay movie, but I really didn't like it as much I hoped.

CoralLevang wrote on October 5, 2015, 4:06 AM

Paulie I will take that as a compliment, thank you.

CoralLevang wrote on October 5, 2015, 4:07 AM

I didn't get to the book tonight. Nor the ravioli.

*laughs* You win for the best comment of the century on this one, morilla . Bravo Zulu!

He lost all that weight for Dallas Buyers Club.
He is going to have a new look--balding with a middle aged paunch--for his newest film due out next year. http://www.etonline.com/news/173297_matthew_mcconaughey_unrecognizable_on_gold_set/
He really doesn't look like the same person.

Enjoy yourself.

I hope you enjoyed the popcorn.

I agree, I saw that movie and thought the same thing.

I hope you enjoyed your date with Matthew and your fusion dinner.

Matthew is fun to look at, but I don't think he'd be super interesting to hang out with. Now, Hugh Laurie seems like an absolute hoot!

CoralLevang wrote on October 7, 2015, 12:45 PM

I love how you changed that up..."fusion dinner." emoticon  Actually, never did eat ravioli. It's now in my freezer. LOL

CoralLevang wrote on October 7, 2015, 12:50 PM

AliCanary OH, how you and I think alike. I LOVE Hugh Laurie!! I think that Nathan Fillion (sp?), aka Rick Castle, would also be fun.

Agreed!

I'll be watching Dallas Buyer's Club in the next couple of days.
