My Niece's Baby Shower

My youngest sister, Tanya, has two children. Her youngest is my 7-year-old nephew, of which I am so fond. You may remember me talking about him, his birthday, or taking him to his first baseball game.

Her oldest is my 20-year-old niece. She is pregnant with her first child--a girl--and is due on November 23rd. Today was the baby shower for my grand-niece, Rosalie (Rosie, for short).

I never was much for baby or bridal showers, because of the games they play. But that is for another post later.

However, today I won the big prize, and went home with a beautiful fuzzy grey throw, and tins of hot chocolate mix.

You won a nice prize and just at the right time of year for such things.

I'm glad you had a great time at your niece's baby shower. In all of my years, I have never been to a baby shower.

Just about anything is worth enduring for some good hot chocolate.

Now those sound like very comforting prizes! I never heard of prizes for those GOING to a shower before!

There not also so bad after all are they. Now you can pull the throw around you, have a cup of hot chocolate and either your computer and/or a good book in the coming winter season.
