My Sister and I Working Together Soon?

I do not want to say too much, as there is some superstition that says if you say it before it is for certain, then you jinx it from happening. Though I do not believe in most superstitious or ritualistic practices as being the determinants of good or bad things, I will not take my chances with this one.

So, without getting into too many details, suffice it to say that there may be an opportunity for my middle sister, Sonja, and I to be in the same city for two weeks, working on a project together before the end of the month.

If this happens, it could be life-changing for both of us. But I am most excited about what this can do for her, and that we have a chance to begin this together.

I will share more as it is disclosed next week.

I look forward to reading more about this opportunity you may have to work with your sister.

I understand your reluctance to talk about things before they are set in stone. I try to hold my tongue in such situations, too. Will wait to hear more as you are able to reveal it.

I do, too! Suffice it to say that I got the call from a former colleague who bid on a project. She called me to see if I was interested in the short-term contract. I also suggested my sister in Tulsa and sent her the resume. As long as the contract comes through and is signed with the client, then it will be a go, and there will be travel for the both of us to the client location...more of a distance for me that for her. emoticon :winking:

Hopefully mid-week I can talk about it.

Wishing you lots of luck as you seem to be very excited about it happening

If you get engaged with your sister in this project for two weeks, will you still be interacting and posting a lot on PP? I hope this works out for you?

CoralLevang wrote on October 2, 2015, 11:16 PM

*keeps fingers crossed*

CoralLevang wrote on October 2, 2015, 11:19 PM

We'll be out-of-town working, and catching up. I will work it out to post, but it will not likely be more than 3 a day, should we be so engaged.

It can be kd of fun working with a sister for awhile, I worked for one day with my sister and it was fun.

If you can still post three a day with other big projects, you are doing great.

Last year, I spent nearly two weeks with her in OK. I think we both were a little concerned, as we had not been together for that amount of time in 40 years. What we both realized is just how much we liked one another. It was great.
