waiting at the hospital

Here I am, on my cell phone again, trying to upload an update. I tried to do it earlier, but it doesn't always work well. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, 3 hours just isn't enough! but I picked up RGD and I just dropped him off at the military hospital for his follow up appointment. I just parked the car, and I'm going to go see if I can find a cup of coffee before I make it up to the urology clinic. he's hoping to get the catheter out today so he can live a little bit more normally in his recovery. I hope, for his sake, that all goes as he wishes. after we're done here, I know he has to go to the grocery store and do some banking, so I'll run him around. I did bring my book with me, so maybe I can get through another 20 or 30 more pages and maybe be finished with this book tonight. well, I should get going. I hope everybody has a great day!

Glad you got a little bit of sleep, even if it wasn't enough. You'll have plenty of posts to read tonight. I just posted my fifth of the day, and have a couple more in mind for the next couple of hours. You should try to get a nap in, while you wait.

Maybe try a chamomile tea before bed. I hear that helps but have not tried it myself. I hope everything goes great for RGD

Good luck in finishing your book and I hope your friend gets rid of the catheter. Working as a nurse those things are a pain more ways than one.

When you're waiting for a friend in a hospital, those cups of coffee and a good book serve to remind you the world is not the hospital.

That can be a good way to pass the time.

You read novels whenever you have some spare time .But then it is the best way to while away the wait ,after all we are not the phubbers .

I don't know how you keep up the schedule you're on. For that matter, I don't know how I keep up my own activity pace this week. I'm exhausted, and we both need to get some sleep. I haven't even had time to read for three days.

I didn't realize that he had to wear the catheter so long. I thought it would be for only a day or two.

You are good to help him with all of this. He'd better appreciate it emoticon
