Coming Down with Something?

When I was at the art meetup last night, I noticed that my knee and lower back were achy. Crawling into bed, I felt a little more than just exhaustion. I had an overall feeling of mild "yuck."

I slept eight hours, though I was up twice in the middle of the night. (&AbbyG , that was for you! "Two hours," my foot! emoticon  )

This morning, I have slight cough, and I feel as if something beat me up yesterday. I have pain in my shoulders, lower back, knees, hips and ankles, and there is a tightness in my chest that feels as if I am going to have one hellacious bug bite me in the behind.

That is what I get for hanging around a hospital for a couple of days.

Healthy people are target one for the mean little bugs that hang around hospitals.

Hope you feel better soon. When I worked as a nurse I always crossed my fingers. Hospitals are supposed to be the cleanest places, but with all the patients with various maladies who knows.

You have just finished supporting RGD through his operation and your daughter through her court trauma. Now the worst is over, maybe your body is telling you to take it easy and look after YOU for a while. Your immune system may be low after all the stress and worry of supporting others and certainly being round overheated hospitals and sick people may have exposed you to more bugs than usual. Time for a rest and to smell the flowers.

I'm sorry you are feeling poorly. I hope you feel better soon and sleep better tonight.

Sorry to hear that you might be catching the flu. Have taken any vitamin C, onions or medicine? I hope you feel better soon.
