Long Time No See

It's been a little over a month since I last wrote here. I've been busy continuing to get outpatient treatment in the wake of my dad's sudden death and my suicide attempts last winter. I'm very lucky; I'm getting incredibly good treatment from some great staff. I'm on a new medication called Abilify which has stopped most of my hallucinations and calmed down a lot of my anxiety. I continue to work on coping skills to use in day to day life. I've been lucky enough to go to quite a few Cardinals games with a friend. I'm also getting to see the Taylor Swift concert on Monday night! Yes, me having a social life - I know it's pretty crazy!

Glad you're back. A social life can be a big thing. I'm sorry for your loss, too.

What an upbeat report on your progress this is! I'm glad to hear you're receiving treatment that is helpful to you. Getting a good fit both with a therapist and therapy that works for YOU is a blessing. : )
