Checking Stats and Checking In Before I Head to Bed

It is nearly midnight and I wanted to get a few minutes in to write my first of the day. I have caught up on my notifications, and nearly finished with my peppermint tea.

I picked RGD up at his home about 6:00 p.m. and got checked in here at the post hotel before 7 o'clock. He had to shower with some special soap before his surgery, and has been asleep since before 10:00 p.m.

I rented a suite, so I would not disturb him, as I am a night owl. I will sleep on the sofa sleeper for a few hours, when I finally do get tired. Five o'clock will come early. He has to check-in to the hospital at 6 a.m., but we are only 15 minutes away.

I have the television on, having watched some animal show about baby koalas, wallabies, and sloths that were rescued after their mothers were killed by automobile traffic. I have not enjoyed a show like that in a long while. Now there is some unplugged music performance--guitars, upright bass, mandolin, violins, drums, and vocals. Quite nice. Folk with an Irish flavor.

It is about time that I hit the shower now, and try to get a few hours of rest. I trust that it will not be too long of a day tomorrow, and that his surgery will go seamlessly. They will keep him overnight Thursday, for certain. I will check-in tomorrow evening to let everyone know how things went.

Oh, and I was hoping to reach the 300 coin mark this past 24 hours, but could only muster up 295 coins (44 cents) for the day. I still have a long way to catch up to Ms. LexiconLover !

Sleep well to those who are slumbering, and a wonderful Thursday to those who are now getting on with their day! I am blessed to have the company of such wonderful people in our community. Thank you, and goodnight.

It appears that you are leaving me in the dust with the number of coins you are getting every day. If you can get just about 300, how difficult would it be to get 600?

CoralLevang wrote on September 24, 2015, 3:58 AM

It would require me to have more people to read, or for everyone to write double what you are writing, or simply go into old posts of people who are no longer active.

lexiconlover wrote on September 24, 2015, 4:19 AM

You're only fifteen cents behind me as of now, or at least as of last time I checked.

I wish you luck with your stats. If I tried to keep up with you and lexiconlover , I think I would be an unhappy nervous wreck.

Only 5 coins off!:-D Hope all goes well for the surgery.

I hope you and your friend goes well today. I am thinking about writing more but then I run out of ideas for the day and hit the books for some research. I might even read some articles critiques and share them.

I hope you got some sleep and by now that RGD is back out of surgery and doing great.

I can't double what I'm writing lady! :P Lol, but I'll make sure there are fifteen articles for you to read today!

I hope all went well for RGD today and I hope you are able to get some well deserved rest, too.

I am new to personapaper. How are you making so much daily? Are you a fast typer and do you put losts of posts in and read others? I am just amazed at how much you've earned. I hope I can advance like you one day. What is all that stuff on the bottoms of the post? Does that have to be on our articles? You know the copyright and stuff?

CoralLevang wrote on September 25, 2015, 1:21 PM

I try to post daily, my goal is 3x a day. And I read and interact a lot with people, going into their archives and reading ... I do not limit myself to what shows up on notifications only.

I have been writing a lot about goal setting and what I do, my process, etc. since about mid-June, if you are interested in seeing that process and progress.

I did not have much success until I stopped thinking about me, and started looking at others and what I could do to help them.
So, remember...reading their articles, gives them a coin; interacting on their articles with thoughtful discussion, gives you a coin, and engages them to want to get to know you (theoretically).

Good grief, almost 300 coins in a day is nothing to sneeze at! I'm happy with 100, but I guess I wouldn't be if I were as productive as you are.

CoralLevang wrote on September 27, 2015, 2:05 AM

I, too, am pleased with 100 a day. That is my standard goal. emoticon

Thank you so much for the tips you shared. Bless your heart you are obviously a vert kind person to put others before yourself. You are behaving like Jesus for sure. Are you a Christian? Or do you believe in Jesus?

I have a good friend that said: "You are the most Christian non-Christian I have ever known." LOL

Thank you for the kind words. emoticon :winking: I am just doing what is right to do in relationship to other people. I'm not always very successful.

I hope I figure this site out and am able to make at least 100 coins

The secret is to post regularly, but leave TONS of comments on other people's posts. You get paid for those, and you will make friends quickly.

butchiepoo As you begin to be active, and get to know others, as AliCanary said, you will find things moving quickly.
